Starting September 1, 2022, Backtower Gallery presents the exhibition Women. The exhibition brings together a selection of paintings and sculptures by ALEXANDRA DIEZ, CARINA ADUR, ALEX PINECO, SEBASTIAN RIO, ASTOLFO FUNES, OLA RONDIAK, CARL PAOLI, LIORA REDMAN, JUSTINE, who propose an approach to the female body from different languages.
The exhibition brings together different representations of the female image, especially faces and figures that transmit distinct emotional states, or are located in situations of intimacy. The artists employ resources such as line, color, texture and volume, with a repertoire ranging from simplified form to gesture.
